Akmal Durrani
As a high school student, I participated in national and international science Olympiads. Then, by seizing several academic opportunities, I have studied at several universities located in Afghanistan, India, Turkey, Russia, Poland, and the U.S. As a civil engineer, I worked in different projects in Turkey and Afghanistan for over three years. I currently work as a research assistant at Ohio University. My WHY in life is to help build infrastructures and facilities in poor communities, so everyone can live a more comfortable life.
